1 court case later, parts are released 🎭

Yes, Bob had to go to Taiwanese court because we were slapped with something called a C3 Review based on some bureaucratic nonsense. It took 5 days to see the judge who then released it immediately.
In 18 years of producing strange skateboards - it was his first one.
Anyway, pedal to the metal again. Bob has half the parts and the other half should arrive there by tomorrow night.
He should have the casters assembled and in the mail in 3 days from that point.
I will take this time to attempt to raise $4000 somehow in order to air-freight the entire shipment to myself instead of boat-trip it, which would save us 3 weeks.
Thoughts, prayers and rain-dances welcome + appreciated.

Ugh more delays but the parts are complete

All parts are complete. Being the smallest guy at the best factories with the craziest project is not a position of priority sadly.
These are the exact next steps guys - if any piece of this can be done any faster I will be absolutely all over it.
1.) Completed parts get to Bob in Taiwan. This was delayed thanks to "Golden Week", a big-ass holiday that no one works. But it will happen next week I am told.
2.) Bob personally assembles the casters. (3 days)
3.) Bob ships completed casters + decks + wheels + wedges + tail stops + hardware to me in California (2 weeks-ish + Customs)
4.) I personally package each kit for each backer, and contact each of you to calculate shipping cost through Backerkit. (Instantaneous)
5.) I personally ship each package to each of you. (I will take the week off of work and not sleep until it is done) Johnny and Lindsay the wife will help me.
6.) We skate.
7.) We smash waves all over the beach.
Thank you guys so much for waiting so patiently. We are literally breaking every mold to make this product. Only the bearings, screws and nuts are pre-made.
I am incredibly sorry for the barrage of delays. If this were easy ... everyone would do it.
In sunnier news, We got the prototype bag made in 1 day by a genius down in Los Angeles. It is epic. Laying out the graphics right now (They will be white).
^Moving the handle and zippers to the opposite sides so we are pointed forward with the script upright, with the deck graphics upright when you open it.
Also moving backpack straps down a couple inches for slightly higher, more comfy / guitarish ride height.
This thing will be perfection.
We are starting with only 50 of these and half are sold so get in there at seaskate.co if you want to add one. They will be ready in time to ship.

While we all wait together I just want to thank each and every one of you guys and girls in all of your countries for bringing this dream to life. I knew there would be roadblocks, constantly. I knew I would get trolled – no problem.
When I see people argue about which surfskate will make them better at surfing, I can only chuckle in a quiet inner peace.
We have already won.
No matter what, these 500 Seaskates are nearly built, and you my friends will have them. I wish it were sooner, but other than that I have no regrets. I could have given up 1000 times, and if I did even once – THEN I would have the regrets. For the rest of my life.
I have already won.
This product is everything I wanted – with zero compromise. Can it be improved further? Of course, this is just the first model. The Wizard and I never stopped developing. We think about this every day.
When I really think about it, it had to happen this way. Modest release. Atomic network. Go.
You guys have been so patient, and I truly love you for that. No one is angry. We’ve had no cancellations - other than 1 bulk order for some random sweepstakes in Lativa, which is absolutely no doubt for the best.
This thing is not for randos. It’s for you. It’s for prowess – physical and mental.
Apologies again for the wait. But it will be worth it. Just a couple more weeks until these babies are on a boat toward my hands. I’ve done everything that needs to be done; paid everyone who needs to be paid. At great personal sacrifice. It’s not about money. The point is:
There is nothing left to stop us.

OK this is taking a really long time. Sorry guys. But it absolutely critical to deliver something that isn't going to break or look wack.

I love it. It's exactly what I wanted but couldn't make myself. Bend pushed forward for better clearance in the nose AND the rails, get it??
We're in legit Rock Maple now as well, pressed/glued in shape like a proper skateboard (instead of 3/8" Birch soaked and molded for weeks like an idiot.)

90x40mm + 80a = Absolute butter. I cannot tell you how much different just this feels than a regular skateboard. Most ppl ride ~100a!
Plus we're almost twice as tall with like 1/8 the contact patch / friction / noise 🔪

Things are actually going great! Just slow!! We're all paid up, and frothing. Getting the most state-of-the-art factories in the world to slide in our cowboy orders of 500 or 1000 pcs. is no joke - but luckily Bob has been doing precisely this for 17 years.
It's all he's ever done.
